        I have an Aiphone APHJOS-1V intercom system. The actual video intercom is great but am very disappointed with the outdoor unit that got unsightly patchy spots on the faceplate. As it was still under warranty, I contacted aiphone but was told the warranty doesn't cover 'environmental causes'. These are expensive units and I would have thought that the outdoor unit could withstand the Australian environment where they are sold without degrading prematurely.
