        I came across the wetlands by accident as I was at the adjacent Blast Furnace ruins. As a new bird spotting enthusiast I enjoyed seeing the surprisingly diverse bird life. I found it fascinating that the wetlands was originally part of the blast furnace complex and in its past life was a place where locals would swim despite the industrial waste that existed at the time.

        Such a nice spot for a short walk. Theres definitely a lot of effort into making this place clean and easy to walk around. The views are gorgeous and the water is clean.
