Leichhardt GP Local Doctors

As a new patient to the clinic I was impressed with the reception team who were helpful over the phone and in person. I saw Dr Kate Robertson, who I thought was just brilliant. She c ame across as exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and caring. Thanks team!

Made the mistake of calling three minutes before their lunchbreak was left on hold and then promptly hung up on, when I called again the message told me to call back after 1.30 pm because they were on lunch, what kind of lazy trogoldytes do you have on your reception desk? tell them to pull finger

Ive been going to this practice for over 20 years. Ive seen roughly 5 of their doctors. Recently theyve stopped bulk billing so I now see a different doctor. I thought leichhardt gp had good doctors but since seeing this new doctor who has made more progress than any doctor at leichhardt for the past decade, Ive realised they werent very good to begin with. I have an autoimmune disease for 5 years which they kept writing off as depression, laziness, bad diet or go around in circles with 40 blood tests of the exact same thing which lead to no further investigation. Definitely wasted too many years at this practice. One appointment with this new doctor who actually listened to me and Im now on the right path to recovery.

Called and waited 12 minutes Called bumped twice then disconnected Called again and surgery closed for lunch break. My friend had a bad fall and was advised by a passing ambulance driver to go to the nearest medical centre to be checked out . I was appalled by this treatment of a call. Sought assistance elsewhere Thanks for nothing
