Alexandra Roberts Counselling & Psychotherapy

Really bad. Unprofessional, dangerous, and expensive. Her counselling and advice were counterproductive and harmful. She doesnt seem to have any real qualifications but says she just likes to chat. Ive tried to lodge a formal complaint against her but it appears that she is not part of any professional body that requires any degree of professional standard. There are so many excellent psychologists and councillors around, dont waste your time or money here.

I am a family lawyer and regularly refer clients to Alex. I have observed Alex's support and guidance to those I have referred to her to help them immeasurably. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex and the quality of her services to anyone, whether for counselling, coaching or anything in between.

I haven't had treatment, but: I called to ask about how psychotherapy works, the timeframes and expected outcomes, and whether or not it would be affordable for me (explaining I have a low-income card). Alexandra said she would give me a free consultation but wouldn't discuss anything fee-related over the phone, and that if people have priorities for it, it can be affordable. I actually felt worse after getting off the phone than before I called her. It felt like a pressured sales pitch. Definitely not a good personality to encounter if you have low self-esteem and anxiety!!

Ive received so much out of my sessions with Alex. She was both professional and accessible, with a high level of integrity. I highly recommend her services.

My experience with Alex Roberts is one of extreme professionalism and utmost integrity. I found being able to go in and meet with Alex and get a full understanding of how she works, including a discussion on what the associated costs were to be, was very useful and assisted me in making my decisions about moving forward. Ive had 10 sessions with Alex and I was able to work through the issues I went to work with her on. Shes a great facilitator and left me feeling able to address the issues and move forward in a way that was right for me. I couldnt have made it to where I am today without Alexs guidance. I cant recommend her highly enough.
