The old guy in the counter tells wrong price intentionally. If the gold price is let's say 88.1 in market, they say "it's Eighty eight points something" to you. They don't say exact price, instead they use the word "something".
If you dont ask or talk more about the price, he will charge you 88.9 aud per gm instead of 88.1. So very much careful about these kind of cheating.
Also, pay by card of possible, even if you pay by cash, he will charge gst from you, so pay by card and keep the receipt.
