Dr Ilias Kotronakis

Dr Kotrinakis is extremely professional, has a lovely bedside manner and is a skilled, kind and gentle surgeon. I couldnt recommend him highly enough!

I can highly recommend Dr Ilias Kotranakis. I was referred on a Thursday and he operated the next day on a large and aggressive SCC. The incision on my neck was quite large but is now almost invisible due to his surgical skill. He then referred me for follow up radiation treatment and advised me to get checked every three months to catch any possible recurrence early I'm very grateful for his prompt treatment and referral to radiation and the advice to follow up every three months.

I went through two hand surgeries with Dr. Kotronakis for Dupuytren (Viking disease) contractures through the Medicare, public health systems. Despite initial misunderstandings about coverage (private vs. public plans), I can only say good things about his competence and the team of doctors and nurses he worked with. The first procedure occurred at RPAH, on 2021. The second procedure took place on November 2022 at Chris OBrian Lifehouse clinic, although it was originally scheduled for RPAH. Dr. Kotronakis knew of my urgency, and offered me the private option with no gap, after my scheduled surgery was canceled. The first and second time, follow-up therapies took place at RPAH. Everyone involved, including Dr. Kotronakis were extraordinary. As a plastic surgeon, he is meticulous with the intricacies of hand surgeries. If I ever consider a cosmetic procedure (neck, maybe?), I will definitely think of Dr. Kotronakis. He is polite, direct in his assertions (which I value as a patient) and does not condescend the patient as so many doctors do these days. I highly recommend him.
