Dr Sam MacDessi is an outstanding surgeon who performed a right knee replacement for me this week. I couldnt be happier with the whole experience including the specialist Anaesthetist he uses Dr Martin T Bohm. Before the operation you receive quality information on the whole business of joint replacement including the out of pocket costs you will bear which depends on your level of private health insurance. All the pre operation X-rays, Scans and third party Doctors assessment plus pathology required is laid out in writing and not hard to follow. The most exciting result is being discharged after just three nights in Hospital. I put effort into my preparation for the surgery by doing appropriate physiotherapy over 8 weeks leading up to my surgery. I will be continuing with my exercise regime for two weeks then Dr Sam will assess my readiness for hydro therapy at Kareena Private Hospital near my home in Caringbah South but as an outpatient. I highly recommend Dr Samuel MacDessi for all your joint replacement needs. Mark Greenacre
