Very poor of giving information about how or who is going to do your treatment. Make sure you ask how is all the procedure and fases. I felt a waste of money and time going to the doctor for something they could tell you on the phone.

I saw Dr Tawfik in late 2019 about Dupuytrens contracture, which I'd suffered for a number of years. In particular I wanted to discuss with him the potential to use Xiaflex, rather than a full operation, to straighten the little finger of my left hand. He did an excellent job in communicating what would be achievable (and what would not) by injecting Xiaflex to give more flexibility to the tightened 'cord' which which had contracted my little finger severely. The procedure went well and I particularly appreciated the follow-up appointments where he monitored and helped me manage the physio-intensive recovery period.
