I wish I had read the reviews before going to see Flora. It felt like money was the focus, would finish on time despite being late to start, very repetitive and had terrible communication. I would not recommend her to anyone following my experience

Highly disappointing. I don't want to go into detail, but I feel her ethical conduct is concerning. Maybe its something I should cross-reference with other practitioners. I have questioned whether I should write to the HCCC but I really hope it was just my own poor experience...

- My experience has been that Flora is a bad communicator and didn't respond to my emails until I called her. - I felt that she was threatening and used her power to push me into making choices I didn't feel comfortable to make even though I told her I didn't think it was necessary. - I felt that she threatening when she said she would hang up on me because I asked her for the reasons behind what she said to me, even though I asked politely and kindly. - Felt demotivating and negative. I told her I saw the silver lining in my situation and she implied that I should feel bad. - I felt she valued my money more than she valued assisting and listening to me. She told me that she could only provide me a letter of attendance if I attended a consultation with her. I don't know why I needed to pay for an actual, full consultation of 1 hour, in her presence, to get a letter of attendance. After I told her that I would just like to have it emailed to me and that I think paying for a session to get a letter of attendance is too much, she finally had her receptionist write me one. I thought if the receptionist could write one, wouldn't that defeat her justification that I needed to be there and have a consultation with her for a letter of attendance? Overall I had an awful experience with her and through my sessions I did not receive any positive ways that could change my experience or outlook. I have found 2 perfect psychologist during the period and the experience with the others were so drastic in comparison so I fortunately know how I should have been treated. I write this only to hope that no one goes through what I had with her.
