Dr Jacob Kaplan Knee, Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr Kaplan recently performed corrective surgery on a severely bent big toe for me, straightening the joint so that I could walk without pain. He made it clear that the decision to proceed with surgery was mine, not his, and explained all possible outcomes clearly. He had previously performed major corrective surgery on my other foot, and in both cases I was extremely pleased with the outcome. His manner is friendly and relaxed, and the office staff could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to engage him again should the need arise, and would recommend him to friends and family.

Risks were explained thoroughly, he never applied any pressure to proceed and all options were put on the table for me to make an informed decision. I've been to Dr Kaplan for both a big toe fusion and knee examination post ACL tear, both experiences were positive. Wait times in the office and hospital have to be expected for a doctor in high demand, if this is the worst thing that one could mention about a surgeon then that's a huge positive in my opinion.

Dr Kaplan and his staff are first class in every way. Dr Kaplan clearly explains and explores all options before surgery. The post surgical treatment received from the doctor and the friendly service provided by his staff are excellent.

Cannot recommend Dr Kaplan and his team more than enough!! After calling more than 6 orthopaedic surgeons Dr Kaplans reception staff were the most helpful and patient with me. After a stressful and anxious encounter with another orthopaedic surgeon who was forcing surgery onto me Dr Kaplans front desk staff asked lots of questions over the phone to direct my concerns and questions directly to Dr Kaplan late on a Friday afternoon 4:45pm to be exact. I was told Dr Kaplan will return my call before he finished for the day (safe to say I didnt believe them) at 4:55pm I received a call from Dr Kaplan. He calmed me down and booked me in for an urgent consultation. During my consultation Dr Kaplan was very thorough, very patient, very calm and had a very pleasant nature about him which made me feel very comfortable. Thank you again Dr Kaplan. You and your staff should be very proud of the service you are offering to your patients. Rest assured if you choose Dr Kaplan you will be in great hands.
