Vision Eye Institute Hurstville - Laser Eye Surgery Clinic

Had a very bad experience this morning with the Nurse Sonya. She is not professional and provided bad customer to me. I got sneezing from the season Spring, as I am a nurse as well, I done the Covid test already before I attended. I explained to her I dont have any Covid, she was agree with me in front of my face and also done few tests with me, and then she left me in the treatment room and ran to the supervisor and reported me behind and force me to leave the facility. She has a very bad attitude and double faces on customers and patient. Dont have any empathy to any patients. Later, I was wait in treatment room for long, and after few minutes she came to me and said: we go to see the guy and doesnt tell me what exactly happened or explained to me about any procedures. Then there is a guy from facility and forced me to leave home. I strongly recommend this facility should training nurse Sonya properly about how to be professional and provide good customer services in the future. I wont come to this facility any more.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. OVERPRICED, GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ok so I went to numerous eye institutes around Sydney for in-person assessments, and this one is the worst by far. When I spoke to them over the phone, they immediately recommended a direct appointment with the doctor (sets you back several hundred for one visit), however I already knew you can see a specialist who will review your eligibility for free, so I had to ask for them for this service that other laser eye surgery businesses immediately offer. That alone was pretty scummy. I went in for the assessment thinking to give them a chance regardless. The specialist who assessed my eyes appeared to be very uninterested, seemly wanted to get it over and done with, recommended me a surgery that I could not get due to a preexisting medical condition that I advised them of DURING my assessment, so not very professional or knowledgeable for surgery that will cost 7k+. Extremely disappointed and the prices they gave me were all higher (to see a doctor, and surgery) than others out there. I recommend you visit other places.

I love it every time I come here :) I am always thankful for the warmth and helpfulness of all the staffs and Dr Schiller. Dr Schiller has been following up with my eye problems which cause by diabetes type 1. He is one of the best ophthalmologist also the kindest person I have ever met. Dr Schiller, and his staff, have been always very kind and lovely. I can't thank all of them enough.
