The rooms are large and there are double beds and have double windows. The food is very good and usually well presented. The nurses are very good and are approachable. There are fewer forms to fill out.

I came in the right time, had such great people in the mental health unit that I have become such good friends with on the outside. My stay was great, I had zero issues. I brought my own bedding to feel at home. The staff are very nice, the groups were fantastic, nalini is the best. The aqua fitness was so relaxing and fun. I love art but I didn't do it here because I wasn't a fan. The food was nice. And Dr shen was great. Receptionist are nice ladies and helpful. I honestly rate it. And I feel those who dont its because they didnt get there way, or didn't listen to the rules or were caught out. If u come in here, it's for u to get help, not for u to play games, be disrespectful, bully other members, not talk bad to staff, and not do bad things. It's for u to have a routine, have a healthier mind set, learn new things. You get out what you put in. So if you come here and want to whinge and complain and not join in lessons, expect no outcome. It's all on you, on how you want to change. Otherwise don't waste a bed for someone who really needs it. Wanted to add. You wake up at 7am Have breakfast Have your meds Then u can go have a shower and make ur bed 9am you have dbt group till 12 with breaks in between. Or addiction group. The groups are mandatory. Then lunch at 12 Then u have free time Or you can do an activity starting at 1pm Either, art class, aqua fitness or gym. Only one activity a day. Or u can not do the activity and go for a nap up to u. At 3pm you can go to the shops or outside U do have to be back before a certain time. Sign in and sign out. No vaping or smoking inside ur room or in the facility. Don't smuggle anything. You will be caught and kicked out. Go in, focus on getting better If anyone gives you a hard time, speak up to the nurses privately. Some people think they are above everyone Just ignore it, and focus on ur treatment. Thank you to all the nurses and staff

I was an inpatient about a month ago, It was not the worst experience I have had a private mental facility, however it was not a great experience. The only psychologist they had to run the group programs was absolutely lovely, the nursing staff were okay, I did have a few issues with them. The biggest issue I encountered is that on the website it advertises all these unique services such as access to a gym, hydrotherapy pool, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists etc, and when I called through to admissions I was told those services were available. However when I arrived I was shocked to find that NONE of those services were available. They advertised a holistic approach to bettering your mental health when it was literally go to two groups a day and then spend the rest looking at four walls. The only psychologist Claire was wonderful to work with, however she is only one person in an entire ward trying to cater to every clients needs and doing the job of the nurses at some stages. She either needs a raise or the hospital to actually hire more psychologists to run and organise other inpatient groups.
