Dirty. Poor selection. Shop owner has awful attitude. I wanted to get a $5.80 grocery for my toddler meal. As I saw $1 surcharge for under $20 spending, I made my way back to get cash n only have $50. The owner refused to sell goods to me unless I have 80 cents because they have not enough cash! So I offered to pay by card if he will waive the $1 surcharge. You know what he said coldly he cant service me and walked off taking the food package and threw it back on the shelf. I was so dumpfound. Not a single apology. Am I expected too much for a shop that charges surcharge crazy amount to provide fair alternative way to pay?

WARNING: BRING CASH. There is a $1 card surcharge cost if you make a purchase under $20, the warning is on the register. I don't know a single other place that has such a ridiculous rule, obviously they are a small business with the few items they stock on shelves, seems mostly to service Korean hotpot, and snacks when I checked the limited items in stock. You can forget about coming here for more specialised Korean goods or snacks that require any sort of freshness, as almost all items are dried, preserved or frozen with long shelf life only. Because of the limited selection, it is hard to find $20 of goods you could even use, so it only makes the cash or card surcharge rule ridiculous. There's a Chinese grocer across the road on the corner, it's two storeys and offers a much wider selection of goods, I know it's not Korean but they stock Japanese/Chinese goods so there's a chance you will find what you need there anyway. Oh, and they don't charge you for card use, give you a free plastic bag too, only if you want it.

Went to buy Korean rice from this place and parked right outside for convenience. Had other things to purchase together, but then the man there would not help me bring the bag of rice to the car right outside the shop even though I am 35wks pregnant and told him I can't carry myself. He refused to do it and said he was by himself but it would have taken 1 minute and could watch the shop without any issues as car was right out front. I just said forget it and put everything down and he said that's fine. Worst service ever. Never returning. I will make my way to Stratty instead.
