Adam's Apple at the station

The amount of time this place overcharges it's customer, it makes me think it might be intentional. Me and my partner frequently shop here since there are no other vegetable shops around. We check our receipts everytime before exiting the store. The staffs usually overcharge for items or adds additional quantity. Sometimes we get charged for 2 bags of tomatoes when we've bought only one. And sometimes we get overcharged for the items that are on quick sale. I am not sure what is wrong with them but the staffs definitely need more training and attention while they are working. The customer service is so bad, we would have never shopped here if there was an alternative. To everyone that goes to this place, PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT AND PRICES BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT OF THE STORE. You might be getting overcharged or charged for the things you didn't even buy.

I went for shopping as usual. I was served by a lady name whose name is PRIYANKA. I had a very bad experience with her, she was really really rude. She doesnt seems to be happy at all. She shouldnt be working in the customer service department if she doesnt know how to interact with the customers. I was on her register she didnt not greet at all. I put my groceries there she was just standing there and talking with her colleague, i ask for bag she literally rolled her eyes what kind of service is that? And then she start scanning my items she is so unprofessional while she was packing my veggies she threw my veggies and it went out from bag. After scanning all the items she just stand and again start talking with her colleague later i ask her how much is total she ask me to look at screen. I was like seriously never had this kind of experience in that shop before. She need to learn and understand what is customer service really means. Looks like she is not interested to work. You guys need to hire people who is friendly,polite and who knows what customer service is. She doesnt deserve to work in customer service department with this kind of attitude. I have no words to explain her behaviour towards me and how she treated me was really disappointing. I have a humble request please give her some counselling.

20 Sep 2021 - I've lived in Hurstville for over 50 years and has been supporting Adams Apple since it opened. The older Aussie staff who used to work there were always friendly and keen to help. Sadly as the years went by, the familiar faces were replaced by younger generations of South Asian culture whom i find extremely rude and not the least helpful. At 13.25 today in 'register 5, cashier 11', i asked the staff named Tasmia about the difference between two similar vegetables on Specials. Her reply was, 'You shop here, you should know' and walked away. I'm totally appalled at the rudeness and the inattention of that staff. In all the years i've supported Adams Apple, helping out our local stores, especially in times such as this, and this is the treatment i get? I don't really care how cheap or fresh your products are, I will be telling my friends and family never to shop at your store again.
