Extremely disappointed with Fertility First this time around. After 8 months of treatment and expressing concerns about not falling pregnant and being told it was an age factor and that not every embryo is destined to be a baby , i went for a second opinion to Genea and they found that i had an Autoimmune disease which i was told ANA is known to impact pregnancy. When i brought this up to the nursing staff, Dr Chesterman and Dr Clark - everyone washed their hands of it. Dr Clark stating there was no medical evidence to support this, despite genea, my gp, gastrointerologist, rheumatologist and 2 other fertility clinics telling me very different. I used all my embryos bar 1 from my daughters cycle - my best chance at pregnancy gone BECAUSE MY CONCERNS WERENT TAKEN SERIOUSLY! When i asked for some form of compensation as my daughters donor was no longer donating and i wouldnt be able to have a full biological sibling, i was told no and that Dr Clark would be reporting the other health professionals for the information i was given. TRULY Dr Clark , when did your principals change and it became all about the $$$

10 embryos, 9 transfers, no results. I have absolutely nothing to show for the last 2 years of IVF. Very disappointed. All scans were rushed, felt like just a number to Dr Clark. Never received any explanation as to why it wasnt working and this clinic never tried anything different just kept doing the same treatment over and over. Wasted time, money and energy. Worth noting that I have had a successful IVF pregnancy in 2020 through a different clinic in Brisbane so I know Im not the problem. The receptionists and nurses were super helpful and polite but at the end of the day thats not going to give me my baby.

After being totally broken by ivf aus I went to Dr Anne in total desperation. I wish I had gone to FF first communication was spot on. Always a follow up email or text. When I wanted clarification it wasnt a call centre it was easy to get hold of the team. I couldnt of been happier with getting pregnant with my fresh transfer. Such a professional yet caring team. So supportive and understanding. Thank you team FF for my March 2021 baby girl

Sometimes the staff on the phone were helpful, polite and reassuring. However on some occasions they were not. The advice/feedback was at times abrupt, and sometimes the information was inconsistent between different staff we spoke to. This was not very reassuring. We also had to often call the clinic to seek answers, and many of these occasions the clinic should have called us and given clear information. There were several times when we were made to feel like a number, and it felt terrible. After the process came to a heart-breaking finish and we had no eggs left, we heard nothing from Fertility First. No follow-ups, no feedback, no explanations. Just silence.
