I really wanted to like Biwon BBQ and have visited a few times but my latest experience was unfortunate. Servers often forgetting things, not attentive, no menus, no water, disagreements with other customers over seating. The dolsot bibimbap I got was lacking. Very little meat and vegetables, limited sauce unlike Kangnam on the other side of the station which provides unlimited sauce. Side dishes were good though. When I went to pay, I didnt know it was cash only for meals under $30. Previous visits had all been over so didnt know of this detail. No signs upfront that I saw or visible on the menu, only at the counter. I apologised and said I didnt have enough cash and asked to pay with card. Begrudgingly I was allowed to pay with card and got a rude comment telling me to remember to bring cash next time. I dont have an issue with following a restaurants payment policy but if youre going to make a rude comment about it and not have it clear to the customer upfront then youre going to leave a bad taste in peoples mouths.

We ordered over the phone and when my partner came to pick up the order he ask if they can put more sweet soy on the chicken for some are NOT coasted with the soy. The owner & kitchen staff refused to do so for its already been coated,NOT every single piece!!!! Dont understand to why they refused to do so,its already been paid. Thats why we ask for the fried chicken with sweet soy but asking for more sweet soy will cause a fuss. Might as well order for plain fried chicken
