Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital

This was one of the worst hospital experiences I have had. I was in severe pain as I suffer from a neurological condition and my pain was so intense I was rushed to emergency. The triage nurse couldnt care less and after waiting 6+ hours in agony they told me I would have a blood test and fluids. They put a cannula in and left it for a couple of hours only to tell me they forgot to do the fluids! They sent me home without a blood test and no fluids and in pain. Poor care and disappointing.

Literally collapsed on the ground 3 times and the doctor and receptionist didn't even care to help.I finally saw the doctor after 5 + hours of screaming in agony with only 2 other people in the waiting room. There was no sympathy at all for my condition and no bedside manner at Hornsby hospital ED. Absolutely disgusting to be treated like a second-class citizen in Australia when you just want common courtesy and respect . Honestly, if i felt they were busy and understaff i wouldn't have made this post. However, the medical workers were slow as daylight with no concern in the world. It did not phase them at my condition or anyone elses and I think they've become desensitised to the importance and responsibility of their job.

Arrived at ED with my beautiful but very sick elderly mother in ambulance at 3am. She was rushed off for treatment whilst I waited in a room. Paramedics stayed by my side till staff were able to attend & advise. Everyone of the staff members were incredibly kind, helpful, reliable and professional. I am Very Grateful that staff treated my mother with kindness and dignity, all whilst medically attending to her serious multiple health issues. Blessing & thanks to you all

Great hospital for maternity. We had our first baby in this hospital. Doctors, midwives, hospital staff are just amazing and doing wonderful service to their patients. I would like to thank Dr.Ganesh for his timely response and the treatment he gave in getting our baby delivered safely right in time. Midwives, Nursing staff, lactation specialist Tracy are wonderful, highly qualified and responsible human beings.

The worst service and unhelpful nurse! The Emergency reception hold us to wait for 2 hours and my son got serious pain on his broken foot, however, they crossed our name mistakenly and hold us wait for unlimited hours, then we found that all the patient be called is after us, when we check with the reception, the woman with glasses and long hair still keep us wait for another 2 patients who are all after us and ignore us. Until we saw the nurse, he just did not know anything and said we have to wait for another 2-3 hours for an X ray and he even did not check my son's hurt foot and without experience, just said nothing and useless at all. When I wanted to cancel the service and went back home as it is already 10 o'clock since we been keep waiting for 3 hours, the reception woman even raisup her tone to say very loudly wait for the nurse! Very terrible experience and will never attend this hospital again. No respect to the asian patient especially!
