We got recommended to take our car to Cherry tunning, upon speaking with Tristan, we advised Tristan that our car had a error code Tristan over the phone told us to stop taking our car to here and there and for us to give our car to him and that he would fix the issue at a cost effective price and he could even tune the car for us. In good faith, We give mr Tristan the car, he works about 4-6 hours on the car but we get a bill for $1054.00. we paid the bill and pick up the car and take it home. (It does not take more than 4-5 hours to do test on sensors and take of the engine lid and side face to have a look at the timing chain kit and put it all back) but they lie to make more money. This is where it gets even more interesting? After a week our original mechanic looks at the engine and notices our camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor has been swapped with their old ones. So we call the shop and they said sorry we forgot to put it back. Furthermore, our mechanic looked at the intake + exhaust camshaft sprockets and noticed they were also changed or swapped with their old ones, out intake and exhaust camshaft were brand new we both know this because we together installed the engine, We don't know what else they have taken or changed over and haven't returned. Hyundai quoted us $900 dollars for the intake camshaft sprocket and $900 dollars for exaust camshaft sprocket. These guys are thief's. Please becareful when dealing with them. While I was waiting in the shop Tristan told me in front of the front reception that his not a mechanic but his a tune shop, after couple of days I told tristan why would you tell me to bring the car to you for diagnoses if you not a mechanic, Tristan told me he never said that his not a mechanic. You know why they stayed up till after midnight! cause they were too busy pulling the engine apart to steal parts and put it back. Disgusting people! Note: what a small world! We met someone who also had a similar experience to us about 8 months ago with cherry tunning, but this gentleman wasn't aware of reviews and like the rest of us he purely approached this business because of their positive reviews. That gentlemen has found a good mechanic now thank god. Do not trust this company their reviews are fake.
