I was terrified about both the procedure and the price, but I needn't have worried. They were upfront about fees and after shopping around it was clear they were substantially cheaper than others. There was however no compromise on quality. The periodontist was kind and professional and I felt no pain. He took the time to answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. He did an excellent job and didn't try to over service or up sell me procedures I didn't need (something many dentists do). Highly recommended

Main issue was getting my tooth chipped during my clean. Yes I was warned that my teeth may chip but this incident seemed completely avoidable if the guy didnt put all his weight into trying to remove what he didnt realise was was part of my tooth. What made it worse is that both the doctor and assistant paused when it happened and then quickly vacuumed the chip up, hoping I wouldnt realise since I had a local anaesthetic! Very professional!! It was so obvious since I felt the chip land on my tongue and and I now have a permanent sharp point on my tooth. Anyway, I would pay 10 times the fee to go back in time and undo this! I also think most of his patients would be referrals from NIB as I received my referral to see him from one of the foreign born dentists from the same country. Ive seen a different periodontist since this happened and it was a completely different experience. Far more gentle and not in a hurry to get through all the patients. It was more expensive but definitely worth it. 2 stars since he did actually clean my teeth.
