Very bad bank, I wouldn't recommend. Customer service is very poor and you will have little to no control over your money. They will stop reoccurring payments with out telling you, they won't allow big purchases to be made. This bank is not good, look elsewhere.

I'd like to thank Robyn Oberg for being super friendly, incredibly thorough, always happy to help and for her brilliant advice. Robyn was always just a phone call away and willing to answer any questions, and there were many over the course of buying my house. I was always greeted with a pleasant "hi Steve" before I even said who I was and I always felt welcomed and unrushed in asking questions. She had a list of things that needed to be done by other people involved in the process and made sure everything that had to be done was done in a timely manner. She was my go to person in the bank throughout the entire process and I am very grateful for this. Robyn said at the beginning when I first applied for the loan that she'd be with me all the way through to settlement and she was. May I add that in the event that she was busy on another call, that every other staff member I spoke with were also extremely friendly and helpful, every single time. I plan to always stay with this bank having had such positive experiences. I phoned Robyn after settlement to thank her. Before I said who I was, in fact before I said anything, Robyn greeted me with an enthusiastic "congratulations Steve". I guess that shows how many times I phoned her. I insisted that I'd write a review of my positive experience and it is an absolute pleasure to do so. Thank you Robyn and Teachers Mutual Bank

I have been banking with the Teachers Mutual Bank for many years. I have always found them helpful and courteous. The people in the Hamilton branch went out of their way to be kind and helpful when I was there.
