Dr Verheul Richard

Although Dr Verheul doesn't do hip replacements anymore, my husband, mother and grandmother all had their hips replaced with him and we would be going back to him for any knees that need doing in the future. He is lovely and caring and we haven't had any issues with the surgeries he has undertaken in our family. Would highly recommend.

Richard Verheul is the best orthopedic surgeon for knee replacement surgery. He is a very kind and caring person with the loveliest bedside manner and replaced both my knees. Highly recommended

I had 2 total knee replacements six months apart during 2021. Dr Verheul is an excellent surgeon who takes the time to explain everything, has a fabulous bedside manner, his staff are wonderful, and Lake Macquarie Private Hospital really take good care of you after your operation. Both my operations were during Covid and I had to do much of the rehabilitation myself, however that was my only downside. Its wonderful to be pain free and able to do things I hadnt been able to do without being in a lot of discomfort. If you are looking for a top class surgeon, look no further. Richard is very popular and his reputation is correct.

Excellent doctor, he truly deserves the extremely popular reputation he has. A very competent surgeon, communicative and a great bedside manner. I thoroughly recommend him to do your knee and hip surgery. The girls in his reception are absolute angels and will help you with all the problems you may have to alleviate the stress of your surgery.
