Skinny Tony's Really Italian

We had dinner at skinny Tony’s five dock last night. We had read the reviews which encouraged us to go. We can not fault the staff they were as good as you could hope for, what really let this restaurant down was two things it was hard to hold a conversation due to the venue being large and very noisy with loud music, but sadly I have to add it’s hard to remember having a worse meal zucchini flowers with thick fish batter tasteless due to only having the taste of ricotta, crab pasta with no hint of crab, my friends ordered the $80 mixed pasta which was so tasteless and pitiful it’s hard to even put into words. We actually felt very grateful when leaving. There are so many better Italian restaurants in that area we are so regretful trying this place never again!

Myself and a group of friends came to this restaurant a few days after it first opened the experience since then has improved 100%!! The menu has reduced in size (keeping the favourites whilst also having the special menu).Our table was looked after by Giuliano and can honestly say this was the best service I have ever received he was friendly, entertaining and made a special effort to keep the young child of our group involved. The food was outstanding and portion sizes did not disappoint. 10/10 Kid-friendliness: Kids play area on site
