Lack of greeting: Upon arriving, there was a noticeable absence of a warm greeting or any acknowledgment that I was a new patient. A friendly welcome can greatly improve the overall experience and make patients feel valued.
Short appointment: The appointment duration was extremely short. I felt rushed throughout the consultation, which prevented me from adequately expressing my concerns and providing necessary details about my condition. Sufficient time should be allocated to each patient to ensure their needs are properly addressed.
Superficial diagnosis and treatment: The doctor's explanations regarding my diagnosis and treatment were disappointingly superficial. I expected a more comprehensive approach that would provide a thorough understanding of my health issues. It is crucial for doctors to delve into the underlying causes of symptoms to develop an effective treatment plan.
Premature conclusion: I was taken aback when the doctor abruptly concluded the appointment with a "See you next time" before I had the chance to finish expressing my complaint. This premature conclusion made me feel unheard and dismissed. It is essential for doctors to actively listen to patient concerns and provide appropriate support and guidance.
In summary, my first visit to this GP clinic was unsatisfactory. The lack of a greeting for new patients, short appointment duration, non-detailed diagnosis and treatment, and premature conclusion of the appointment were significant drawbacks. I hope the clinic takes this feedback into consideration and strives to improve the patient experience in the future.
