My hearing had been getting worse and worse over about twenty odd years. I suffer from tinnitus in both ears, I hear cicadas while ever I'm awake. I've been to see the hearing people that you see in our shopping centres and was not impressed by them at all, so I didn't take things any further. In the end I couldn't hear music properly, music is\my hobby/passion, and I started to get a bit down about it. I asked my doctor for a referral to see a "real" hearing expert. He said that the doctors' don't have that type of person available to them, so we started looking for an independent audiologist. We found one, and he is absolutely the best. The difference between Kristian Robinson at Erina and any of the shopping mall places is enormous. Kris first took the time to listen to my problems, that was a refreshing change, then applied the testing to suit those problems. Kris didn't make any promises, he just explained the problems with my hearing and what could be done to help. Well I ordered a set of hearing aids and could not believe the difference that they made. I really can hear again, including music. I continue to "hear" things every day, things that I haven't heard for years. I thank Kris for his professional attitude and thorough treatment for this problem. Please excuse me if I'm seeming to be gushing over this, but the difference that has been made to my life is nothing less than profound.
