We recently had our pergola installed by Mark and are extremely happy with the end products, and the fair price. The service was also amazing, with Mark and his team giving us exactly what we wanted in quick time, and we had our new pergola ready just in time for an Easter get together! Mark took the time to answer all our questions, and worked with us to shape up the space to be a valuable addition to our backyard. Overall, every aspect of our experience with GMC home improvements was perfect and we would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to add that extra touch to their home.

We were in the market for a decent size louvre system (5.5m x 6m) and 6m width blinds so this was always a significant investment. I am an aggressive researcher and given the investment we were about to make, we fully canvassed the market in terms of products available and companies to use. We found GMC during the Christmas shutdown period, and despite being on holidays Mark took the time to talk through our project and conduct a site visit to meet our timeframes. They say first impressions count, and from this moment we noticed a marked difference between Mark and his competitors. His ability to listen, followed by his deep knowledge, friendly manner and communication left an impression that made us feel comfortable and confident in moving forward with Mark and his team. Mark is a rare find, someone who does what he says he will! We were dealing with numerous trades people during our pool / al fresco build and found simple customer service is lacking with so many companies, so dealing with Mark was a refreshing experience. Mark quicky turned around a fair and reasonable quote for us, with the necessary detail, costed options, drawings and shadow video complete with a google drive of projects and details we could review and this was prior to winning our business. The video helped us visualize our concept design and was a nice touch. Once work commenced, Mark and his team maintained clear lines of communication, providing clear explanation of the construction process and were happy to answer any questions. They worked in well with our other trades and were happy to accommodate the construction timeframes to coincide with other trades working on our project. Mark took the necessary measures to protect our newly laid tiling and the site was always left clean and tidy. Mark and his team were polite and a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. Our other trades commented on Marks pride and attention to detail, which we thought was an interesting observation. We are delighted with the finished product. The advice given around colours (woodland grey posts/white louvres) has given us a seamless look rather than looking like an add on. We love the look and functionality of the louvres and the blinds. The quality and aesthetics are equally pleasing and visitors to our house who have come to see the finished project (pool/al fresco) have all commented that the louvres really provide the wow factor. After attending the Sydney Home Show yesterday and comparing our louvres to competitors products we are so glad that we made the choice to go with GMC Home Improvements. We couldnt be happier with our investment, and we have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his crew!
