After 5 months of 8/10 pain and multiple treatments from chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage treatments and acupuncture with no positive pain relief I underwent surgery by Dr Mark Winder An incision of only 6cm was needed on my right L3/4 and a Laminotomy - Decompression was my procedure a large disc fragment on the right and a small fragment on the left was removed as well as a facet rhizotomy on my right. I had no pain when I awakened in recovery and no pain the next morning when I got up to walk. I have had only one night of pain on day 3 since the operation an amazing result. I am 7 weeks post Op and doing most activities again at a low intensity bike, walk, run and lifting light weights. The support staff in Naomi, Michelle and team on day of surgery were very caring and knowledgeable. I am extremely thankful and would recommend Dr Mark Winder and team to family, friends and public

Doctor Winder performed 2 surgeries (Discectomy) in April and September of 2022. Doctor Winder was highly professional, thorough and was extremely relatable. His team were very helpful and always friendly, putting my mind and that of my family at ease during every stage of my operations. Nothing was too much trouble when seeking information or clarification and I cannot speak any more highly of Dr Winder, his nurse Naomi or his reception and office team.

I am so pleased I found Dr Winder to have the spinal fusion I needed. At the first consultation, I was scared of the idea of surgery but felt I could trust him, that he understood my problem and could explain clearly what he would do and how it would help.I found him very easy to relate to. We made a time for the surgery that was successful. He visited me post op to see how I was going. And the care by the team of nurses at St Vincent Private where Dr Winder operates, was wonderful, caring, patient, responsive. I am sure it contributed to my fast recovery. Dr Winder also saw me 6 weeks post surgery and confirmed I was recovering very well. I have had minimum need for pain relief and been able to walk painlessly after only a couple of weeks post surgery. The admin team working for him were also very pleasant, and checked regularly on my recovery. I only have praise and gratitude for all the people involved in the process. Ccile
