Before Birth & Beyond

I am very grateful to have had Dr McRae as my obstetrician for my first pregnancy. She was attentive, empathetic, and respectful during our interactions and she listened actively to all my concerns and addressed them which provided me great comfort and confidence along the journey. Dr Alex was also very thorough and I felt she looked after me really well. She explained all the relevant procedures and options and also guided us on making the right decision for our unique situation. I will never forget Dr McRae's care and support. She created a very smooth delivery experience for me and I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend Dr Alex.

Alex was incredible throughout my pregnancy and birth of my daughter. We found her to be knowledgeable, attentive and supportive. We also really appreciated her friendly and caring nature. I would definitely to go back to Alex for any future pregnancies, and highly recommend her.

Alex was my obstetrician for 2 pregnancies, as well as my gynaecologist previous to that. I can't recommend her highly enough! She went above and beyond her role as an obstetrician and acted as my advocate when I was back in hospital with severe mastitis 3 weeks postpartum. Her care during pregnancy & birth reflected evidence-based healthcare but with an empathetic & understanding view. She guided me every step of the way and answered the million questions I had for her. She always had time for me & showed a genuine interest in my pregnancy journey. I've already recommended her to every pregnant person I know and will continue to do so!

Dr McRae delivered both our babies and I wouldn't hesitate to ask again (if i was sane enough to have a 3rd :p) I loved her down to earth personality, her confidence and it was easy to have a conversation. She did not pressure me to select a particular hospital or decide how i should deliver or when I should deliver. There were all our decisions. Dr McRae was supportive in any decision we made which in hindsight is a nice thing. Thank you for your support along the way.

When I first met Dr Mcrae by chance at RNS, I instantly knew she was the obstetrician for me. I didnt even bother looking at other obstetricians. I had such a wonderful experience in both preparing for and welcoming my first child into the world and so much of that is due to the impeccable service and support of Dr Mcrae. My partner and I are beyond grateful for her devotion and ongoing commitment to her patients during pregnancy, birth and after care. I hope I am lucky enough to have Dr Mcrae by my side for every baby we welcome into our family!
