Ampol Foodary Crows Nest

Very busy service station

(not so much a review, more of a complaint) 1:30am Saturday October 22nd. There was a sign on the window said that the station would be closed on the 24th. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come out and serve me (food and a drink) while the others also wanted to pay or purchase something. One of the people waiting with me called phone and the station. Someone picked up the phone and told them that because it closes tomorrow they were not operating even tho all lights were on, pumps were running, and they were still in store. It also closes in two days so this claim made even less sense. Anyway we all ended up leaving without buying anything and the one that wanted to pay for his petrol ended up leaving after waiting 15 minutes for someone to allow him to pay.

Can you imagine how bad a muffin has to be to deseve commenting on? If not, just head over to Ampol and grab the 2 buck travesty with coffee. Ultra sweet as expected, yet with tiny candied 'blueberries' that are almost crunchy. Muffin itself is like eating a toasted dish sponge with a similar foul aftertaste as if the shortening used was some leftover Castrol GTX. 1 Star.
