    Crane Pools did a regular maintenance service (second time) This is where I started having issues, as the day before I was swimming in the pool and the filter was working. After the service the technician told me the filter system isn't working. its a big problem with one of the pieces of equipment. My son had a brief look and advised to me its not the chlorinator there must be another issue. Thankfully my son has some ideas on how a filter works. I called your office and had a discussion with a male staff member saying to try to fill the pump as it was turning on but not filling with water, to add water to the pump approx.. 3 buckets maybe theres an air issue. As this only started after your technician had been, I asked if you could please send one of your staff to investigate the issue. It took 2 weeks for your staff member to come and investigate the issue, hence this whole time there was no filtration to the pool. Once your technicians arrived she tried several things, one of this including adding water to the pump. At one point I was watching and when she removed the pump cover I asked where the rubber ring was that seals the pump lid. She had a look around and could not locate the ring. She then said that its probably the issue, and said it was there because the pump had been working prior to your techs visit on the 6/3, so what had he done with the ring? She said she will go and see what she had in the van, nothing fitted correctly. She then advised she will see if there is one in the shop and call me back that day, NO RESPONSE. I called the store on the Saturday after to find out what was happening, person who picked up had no idea what I was referring to, aid he would call the tech and get back to me. Again no response. Its now been 2 weeks with no function filter. When I did receive a call back it was to say can you please send me pics and measurements of the filter which I did, then said it would need to be ordered and take another week. I asked if the ring could be collected by a team member instead of waiting for delivery. I was called back and said it would be installed no later than Wednesday 19/3, again nothing, I called on the Monday 24/3 they said it would be fitted the next day, I had enough by then and went to collect the ring from the shop myself and installed myself and now the pool is function properly. I can only surmise from all of this that the technician may have accidentally lost the ring whilst doing the clean, however the ring is nowhere to be found. What a lot of issues for no reason. It goes without saying please cancel my monthly cleaning service as I dont want to have these issues again, and advise your technicians to be trained up correctly, or was this was a ploy to charge me for maintenance and equipment to my pool that was not needed?

    Crane Pools was the local dealer for my Maytronics pool cleaner robot, which I bought six months ago. I had to take it in for a repair under warranty which is done by Maytronics but organised by Crane Pools. Although there were some delays on the Maytronics end, Crane Pools was very responsive (roughly one day in responding to most emails), was honest and kept me up to date on the progress - even in the midst of what was no doubt a busy summer season. They even offered me a loan cleaner robot during a part of the delay. When there remained some ongoing faults with my robot after repair, Crane Pools went into bat for me with the manufacturer and ultimately secured me a replacement robot under warranty. Thank you to Crane Pools for helping facilitate the great outcome and to the staff, particularly Kate, who were always pleasant to deal with. I will be using Crane Pools for my pool supplies and business going forward because of what they did for me.
