As we arrived for our appointment in 25 minutes after travelling 1 hour surgery phoned as we parked and stated Dr zabawahlu wouldnt be seeing my child as she needed a longer appointment, due to not seeing her for a year. Due to COVID issues x2, my nursing my Mum with cancer and her very recent death. This appointment has been made for over two months, I have had to reschedule solicitor appointment, scheduled counseling appointment, organised a carer to stay with my very sick husband to make this appointment. Totally unprofessional to leave it to 25 minutes to ring and say he wont see her today. Unethical and rude. Is he going to pay the $120 account to pay for the carer to stay with my husband? The cost of fuel to drive to Coffs Harbour? No of course not! Despite ringing and confirming cost of appointment last week nothing was said regards the issue. So obviously this paediatrician cant be bothered checking his patients files until just before they walk in. Certainly brings down the efficiency of Dr Naidoo and his standard. I wont be back. Would not take my dog to him.
