I have had a painful and expensive experience with this Dental Practice. Unfortunately, I saw a newly qualified but inexperienced and unsupervised Dentist. I was never told that the Dentist I saw had only just graduated. Had I known this, I would have opted for a more experienced Dentist. I have experienced great pain after I spent over 2 hours in the dental chair during each of my two visits. Several weeks later, I still have a sore jaw from having to hold my mouth open for so long. I needed a new Veneer made after my existing one fell off. The Dentist asked me if I knew what product had previously been used on my tooth where the Veneer had fallen off. Of course, I had no idea what product had been used on the Veneer that had been made several years ago. The Dentist then had a number of attempts to take an Impression for my teeth for the purpose of the new Veneer. Then the Dentist put a temporary Veneer on my tooth. The temporary Veneer caused me more pain than I had to start with. I returned and the Dentist admitted they hadnt applied a coating under the temporary veneer and that was the cause of the pain. The first temporary then had to be removed, and this resulted in several more attempts for the Dentist to take a fresh impression because the shape of my tooth had been altered by removal of the temporary veneer. The Dentist then made a second temporary. Despite me taking the upmost care of it, the temporary fell off within 12 hours. During both consultations, the Dentist constantly asked the Dental Assistant for advice on the process and also interrupted another Dentist from another room several times to ask questions about the dental work on my tooth. I felt sorry for the Patients of the other Dentist who were left waiting while their treating Dentist was caught up with the newly qualified Dentist. During the second visit, the Dentist and Dental Assistant spent a great deal of time chatting about their work environment rather than focusing on my tooth and comfort. It is abundantly clear the Dentist should be under the full time supervision of a qualified and experienced Dentist until such time as they are fully competent themselves to undertake such work. After the second temporary Veneer fell off, I rang the Dental Practice to cancel further work. I explained my reasons for cancelling the work and that I had lost all faith in the Dentist. The Receptionist then said the Dentist I had seen was highly experienced. How a Dentist who has only just graduated and been registered for two months could be highly experienced is beyond me. At the outset, I had to wait 4 days to be squeezed in for my appointment. Whereas, when I telephoned other Dentists in the area, they all had availability the same day to fit in urgent cases like mine. I have since consulted another Dentist who competently and efficiently carried out the required work within 45 minutes.

I would highly recommend Brad Pearce. He is a perfectionist with his work and his attention to detail is impressive. The contractor, Alan W Smith Dental Laboratory that Brad uses to make veneers was also very professional and did an amazing job. I was very happy with the final product.
