gave Troy Royce my 6 beautiful antique mahogany Edwardian dining chairs for reupholstering. I was horrified to see the result, tacks banged in will nilly chipping and bruising the irreplaceable mahogany seat base. Crooked studding. Fake 'stainless steel' studs with plating that scratched off with the finger. Staples showing underneath studding. Raw leather edge showing on some. Fibre flock exposed on another, due to a tear in leather that they didn't replace (obviously ran out of leather.) No springs replaced as I specifically requested. Big fresh scratch down the back of one seat leg, looks like a screwdriver slipped when they were prising out the old gimping. They need to be redone elsewhere, cost me a fortune in dollars and heartache for damaging this beautiful furniture that I am custodian of. Devastated.
