I was over the moon at the results of my cataract eye surgery. I have been severely short sighted since I was 5 and had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, not just to have the cataracts removed, but also to improve my vision. It feels amazing to wake up each morning and see instead of fumbling for my glasses!!! Dr Chen is a fabulous surgeon, very caring, very skilful and very patient answering all my questions. The Institute itself is run like a well-oiled machine. I dont think Ive ever met a specialist who gave me his mobile number and said contact me if you have issues; he even phoned on a Saturday morning to find out how I was after my surgery the day before. He is so impressive. Go see him, you wont regret it!

Had cataracts done in both eyes in one week. Cannot fault the whole procedure. From check in to check out totally professional. Simon explained everything and his follow up was great. He called me himself the next day to see if all ok. Thats what I call real care.

I recently had my cataract surgeries for both eyes done by Dr Simon CHEN at Vision Eye Institute in Chatswood. I am just amazed and awed by the fantastic outcome of the surgeriesno more glasses, no reading glasses and contact lenses for me too ever again. It is indeed life-changing. I highly recommend Dr Chen. The result of the surgery he performed is excellent! It's now 5 weeks post-op and I am totally glasses-free with great vision and improving by the day. His teams in the Drummoyne Clinic and the day hospital in Chatswood from which he operates were very supportive and accommodating. Thank you!
