YAYOI Chatswood

A family favourite - dishes for everyone in the family! Very efficient ordering system through the tablet and the waiters are also quick and service is good. Theres no bookings and walk ins only. The servings are of a good size and everything is always cooked freshly. It is on the pricier side but the flavours are good and does taste like authentic Japanese teishoku meals. The spicy karaage is definitely spicy but tasty. Udon is also chewy and cooked perfectly. Saba shio yaki was a but fishy in my opinion but my folks enjoyed it. Food here is satisfying and doesnt disappoint. They also have a loyalty point system for every $25 spent you get a point. After $10 points you receive a $25 voucher, all through an app. Very easy to use!

Weve been to the Yayoi in Sydney CBD but never tried this one in Chatswood. Location wise it is next to Westfield carpark so not quite in the main strip but still close. Food was great but portions small.

Really nice food. Instead of traditional unagi don, what you will get is extra soup to mix with the rice and eel, it was something new to me and it tastes really nice. The only problem is the service people can be a bit impatient, which Im not too sure if it is because her language proficiency is limited or shes just rude in nature.
