The Sebel Sydney Chatswood

I would not recommend this place to anyone! It is filthy ! Everything is falling apart, everything is outdated and it needs full renovation. Stains are also everywhere. Also infested with cockroaches. I spoke to customer service and requested the new room. The answer I got is all rooms are like that because the building is old . Well, those rooms and the building itself look different on the website, otherwise my feet would never enter there. Customer service is an absolute 0. THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED ! STAY AWAY! Ps. Rooms: Room was clean (thank god after reading the bad reviews) and a little dated. Nearby activities: Theres a lot of places to eat near by and there is a cinema, mini golf, bowling and latter tag right next door!! Was very nice! I recommend the mini golf it was so much fun.

We stayed with our family with kids for a week around Easter 2023. Pros: Great location Staff helped as best they could and were very nice Room was spacious for the price Great pool area Staff helped us relocate rooms Negatives: Electronic keys stopped working quickly Need physical credit card for check in instead of using your phone Heavy dust in extraction fans No tea towels Shower needed to be all the way cold, and about 5 degress on for hot, otherwise it was too hot - same in both rooms we tried and unsafe for kids Gas stove starter not working, staff had to supply a cigarette lighter Electrical socket switches - many have buttons popping out and are unsafe We didn't use it but appliances (stereo, bedisde clock) are outdated / have attachments for iPhone generation 1 etc Reception computer/system seemed to always have issues and in need of reboot meaning waiting time was extended whenever we needed to change things, or check in No guide available for checking out features of hotel/apartments provided Cockroaches (baby ones, more than 8 seen/killed) in original room. Staff were nice enough to provide another room
