Silkari Suites at Chatswood

New clean hotel that has multiple rooms for big family and very spacious. Right across the hotel is the Chase Chatswood Mall and lots of Asian and Western restaurants. This is the center of all activities in Chatswood, all within walking distance. 10 mins walk to train and bus station. In the morning, there's a complementary coffee station at the lobby that serves free coffee to it's guests. So far, we havent experience any negative issues with hotel during our stay. A highly recommended new hotel in Chatswood.

Great hospitality and proximity to shopping malls. Clean and staff are kind. You can get complimentary coffee every morning, which is really tasty.

The location is pretty good with walking distance to malls and restaurants. However, the service quality is really low. Here are a few examples: 1. Air conditioner wasnt working for the whole weekend and had to wait until Monday because they had no maintenance people available on the weekend. 2. Cleaners did really bad jobs as not fully collecting rubbish, not cleaning the toilet properly, it was so disgusting when I first checked in to see the toilet. The shower supplies were not provided as per person and day basis. I had no body wash of my last night stay and the reception requested me to go down and pick it while I was in the middle of the shower. 3. Someone took away a cup in my room without my knowledge for unknown reasons. As we have 2 people, we have to share one cup since the 3rd night. 4. The curtain of the windows is really thin as one single layer, it cannot block any light in the early morning and no PRIVACY in the evening. People can see through the curtain from the street, which we checked it from the street.
