Dr Jeff Dobinson

Dr has provided excellent care for my husband. He has maintained regular appointments for assessment of his Glaucoma and with out his skill and knowledge my husband would be blind in his right eye. Dr is also respectful and listens to any concerns with appropriate explanations on every consultation . I would highly recommend Dr Dobinson as a top eye specialist Thankyou, Lyn

I was happy enough with the doctor but my god the receptionist was the worst (person) Ive had anything to do with in maybe many years. Unhelpful, rude; she even hung up on me on the phone when I was trying to explain that I needed to get a certain time for an appointment to make sure I could get my kids from school across town. I was shocked. When I went to the surgery, she was so offhand that even the other receptionist was in shock. There was no reason for her being so completely rude, and if there was, I was unaware of it. I left in tears. I definitely wouldnt recommend going here on the proviso that the whole experience for me was utter hell. I felt I was majorly getting in her way by even trying to make an appointment. Doctor was late and I was told tough titties that he had decided to return from lunch later than promised, plus the first appointment after lunch was not actually given to me as agreed on the phone but to someone else. Not a chance I will return.

The treatment my mother received from this Dr appointment was hopeless. The Dr saw my grandfather for many years previously to my mother's appointment. And my mother mentioned to Dr dobinson he had passed away 18 months ago. He knew my grand father well. The Dr replied OK I'll put him on deceased list. No sorry for your loss or no compassion it was just so rude and such a horrible way to say it to his daughter. This Dr is not of the smartest Dr's please do your research before paying him for pointless appointments. It took a local spec savers optometrist to find my grandfather's macular degeneration. After all the appointments with Dr dobinson And my mother had to go to the emergency room to get help with her eyesight which was advised by her Dr after this Dr was no help. The lady that is working in reception is very rude and speaks quite aggressive over the phone and in person. No phone manner at all. When my mother proceeded to pay after consult Dr dobinson came out to reception woman in front of her and said delete her father's name from files his deceased. With no compassion at all. This could of been left till I was gone. The receptionist did not show any sympathy either knowing he was a long time client. This was quite shocking to my mother. She left shocked and had to sit in her car for five minutes to due to her being upset of the rudeness and heartless consultation she had just attended. She told me what had happened I knew that this Dr and receptionist needed to be publicly known for how they handle business.
