Dr Allan Rosenberg

I've been a patient of Dr Rosenberg since about 1980. He's performed two operations upon me over that time. I think he's a brilliant doctor in his field. But be prepared to wait... and wait. Maybe phone reception ahead of time to see how far behind he is on the day and modify your arrival accordingly.

Dr Rosenberg is a Prime Doctor for eyes incl. his other associate Dr Farlow & optomotrist & staff, he helped me and others referred to me, he is gentle humble and with manner as well as a Proper, Formal impecable Surgeon, Dr Rosenberg was head of the Sydney Eye Hospital a long while ago, Dr Rosenberg is renowned from most Doctors & Optomotrists. I read some posts about waiting, waiting should not determine ones professional status of stars, I know waiting is frustrating, but your there, he tries to help everyone with urgent needs and has done so incl Dr Farlow. Waiting is a Virtue & when its your turn, he & she gives you their undivided attention to you. I know of him via Sydney Hospital and his reputation exceeds him. No one can predict the day of appointments, sometimes its accurate but sometimes its life, imagine a Doctor not giving all his attention to you.... I have not seen Dr Rosenberg lately, maybe early 2019 but i need to go for a follow-up, I'm not paid nor credited by them to write this, I wrote this by heart.

1.5 hours waiting and a $130 fee. That's perfectly acceptable if you're getting treated properly - healthcare isn't always free and sometimes these places run late. It's not so great when you get a rushed five minute appointment when you're assessed for the wrong issue because the assistant at the clinic who asks you what you're here for before you see the doctor has somehow mixed up something that you told her was diagnosed and brought under control years ago and the issue you explicitly told her you wanted the doctor to assess.
