From start to finish I couldnt fault these guys!! Edmund was fantastic - super knowledgeable, genuine and always available to answer questions. Theresa was incredibly personable and organised in getting everything booked in and finalised! And John and the boys who installed it were polite, professional and a pleasure to have working around our home! They went above and beyond my expectations in product support through the whole process!!! I was blown away by the high standard of communication, organisation and follow up! The panels look exceptional and the app makes it incredibly easy to monitor power produced vs used! Couldnt be happier!!! If you feel overwhelmed by the industry as I did to start I would highly recommend these guys! Thankyou again!

After HCB installed our 7.9kw system with battery a few years ago, our inverter decided to stop working (permanently). HCB had it ordered from the supplier and reinstalled quicker than I expected. Very happy with this company!

In September 2021 HCB installed a 6 KW solar system with a 6 KWH battery and a power diverter at our residence in Stockton NSW. The installation had a few hiccups but turned out well in the end. Along with the PV system we replaced our ageing gas hot water heater with an electric heater capable of off-peak use. (The power diverter directs surplus PV power to the hot water, and when there has been insufficient PV, will feed the HW from the Grid at off-peak times.) We are a retired couple with a ducted air-conditioning system. About 1/3 of our total power consumption, including hot water, is for heating during the colder months. HCB provided estimates of PV generation, which were very close to our actual experience of 9608 KWH over the first year. Our total power use for the year was 12098 KWH, of which 46% came from the PV system. We exported 4111 KWH to the Grid over the year, so we consumed 68% of the PV energy generated. As part of the total, our hot water energy use was 86% from the PV system. Over the year our power cost, including for hot water, was $1970 less than it would have been without the PV system. We are paying for the PV system using a state-government-subsidised zero-interest loan whose repayment is $1750 per year, so the PV system is more than paying for itself, particularly with the recent increase in electricity prices. We are pleased with the result.
