My father, who is 81, had to go in for a heart stress test. He was told it would take 4 to 6 hours, not to eat in the morning and only sip on water. Arriving at 11.00 and nobody explained anything about why what or when. Most of the day sitting in the small waiting room!! Finally, at 1530, he was offered two little biscuits and a small cup of coffee!! The procedure would have taken 45mins. Too long of a day for anyone. Communication, would be a wonderful starting point. Maybe a little pamphlet explaing what is going to happen and consideration of the elderly! Bet the staff ate breakfast, morning tea and lunch.

Staff are always very kind and the blood collectors are very well trained. I do often have to wait a while before getting in but I believe they may be understaffed. I save a lot of time by calling ahead to check wait times

DONT come here to have blood taken Came at 8 first day before I started work Sat for an hour , wasnt even close to getting in so had to leave. Come next at 7.30 and here I am again at 8.30 still waiting to get in I think that people that need to get to work should have Priority over those that have all day to do nothing. Will not be back

This centre is very bad and I would not recommend going here. The front desk lady was very rude and blunt, she eyerolled when I asked a question. They did not allow me to make a booking due to the un seriousness of the test and told me its walk-in only. This is funny to me because my doctor told me that it was important to take my kids in to be tested for stomach-eating bacteria, not that it was not serious and dont worry about it. When we went in, there was a long wait of an hour the lady said. This was not true, as we waited a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes and were still not called from the waiting space. People who walked came and left in the time span of us waiting almost 2 hours. Irritated, I walked up to the front desk and asked when we will be called and the rude front desk staff just responded still four people ahead and whoevers down there very blatantly. Never going back here again, there must be a good pathology centre around here somewhere!
