I started going to S-Mart about 6 months ago. I was shy as I was new to Asian cooking. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I love how fresh their fruits and vegetables are and I always manage to find what I need. The store is always clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Unlike some shops it isnt too squishy or cluttered. I always feel relaxed. I have seen some reviews complaining about range or pricing compared to Sydney. I dont think it is a fair comparison as most food items are cheaper in Sydney vs here in Newcastle whether it is Asian or not. I have compared prices at S-Mart with other Asian supermarkets in our local area and find them to be very competitive. Their range is slightly smaller than some places but I have never failed to find what I need. I will continue to shop here weekly and recommend it to others.

Fascinating, heaps to look at & has its own carpark. Not all stock is clearly priced, and while the ingredients labelling has improved, I would like to see English translation included on all packaged foods sold in Australia, with no exceptions.

Business is very clean, great produce in store and service; was great too, it just does not stock everything youd need unfortunately. Alcohol also available inside, free parking directly out the front.
