Dr Jayker Dave

I am surprised to read some of the bad reviews about Dr Dave. I found him and his staff to be helpful and supportive both before and after my operations. I have had two hip replacements and two knee replacements. Dr Dave is a very caring doctor who takes the time to explain everything in detail. I am happy to say I now live a life without constant pain.

Arrived punctually for a 9:40am appointment and paid my $250. It is now 10:58 and I am still number three in the queue. I sure hope that thus apartment is worthwhile, as I have better things to do than wait for disorganised professionals who treat my time with contempt. My wife now has to move the car as our parking is expired.

I went through the public system, and though my knee op was delayed by 2 years due to COVID lockdowns, I was incredibly satisfied with Mr. Dave's initial examination of my knee, the surgery he recommended, and it's final outcome! My knee is light years better and I know I'm on the road to a great recovery via my physiotherapy. I can't wait to get back into the gym again - and that starts TODAY, after my final follow up. I highly recommend him!

I had an issue with my referral that prevented me getting my Medicare rebate. After 5 weeks and several insincere promises to sort it out and misleading information, it became obvious that staff had done nothing. When confronted with their lack of communication and effort, they passed the blame to me. At no point during the 5 weeks did staff communicate to me that there was a problem that I needed to address. Even though this was an unsatisfactory response and very frustrating, my real reason for the poor rating is because a staff member became abrupt, unapologetic and eventually hung up on me while I was questioning their lack of communication. She then blocked my number when I tried to call back to finish asking my questions. I then tried to email my questions and it was refused because' the 'target computer actively refused it'. It appears that the staff are unwilling to help a patient that has an unexpected problem, so beware. The time spent with the doctor was brief and basic. I paid a considerable amount of money for a service that I feel was not honoured.

Don't even try to visit there! Hopeless,too much attitude and rudest receptionist I have seen in my life..avoid if possible!
