    Was there for 20 minutes to buy a new whipper snipper and not served so I left. The shop was empty except for me. I called the store 6 times while in there but no answer. Heaps of motorcycle guys around outside. Do they not work there? What sort of customer service rep leaves the shop unattended?

    Terrible and Unfair sales Practice. Never buy Stihl products from small dealers as the parent company in Melbourne will not intervene with your concerns. On the 2nd Dec 2021, I purchased a Line Trimmer from Sydney City Motorcycles at 1a & 1b 14 Blaxland Road , Campbelltown NSW 2560. .The unit was faulty and lost power when using at high speed. On the 3rd Dec 2021, I went to the dealer to address my concerns about the faulty unit. The dealer mentioned it may be the wrong fuel. I mentioned the fuel was filled as per the guideline from the user manual. The unit was returned for inspection with empty tank. The dealer filled the unit with their own fuel and tested it . It ran fine and said there was nothing wrong. I went back home and used it and it had the same problem. I went back to the store on second occasion where the dealer started and discovered the unit had issues with the air filter flooding. I requested for an exchange and refund . The dealer outright declined both and said he will need to send the unit for repairs as I filled the unit with wrong fuel. Hello the fuel was filled as per user manual guideline. Any excuse NOT TO REFUND. I mentioned to him the fuel in the tank is the one he filled on the 3rd of Dec 2021 and it cant be the fuel other than a faulty unit. He said Stihl's exchange and refund policy is for the unit to be sent for repairs. The issue is the dealer sold me a faulty product and will not refund within 7 days from purchase date .The dealer did not test the fuel I filled in the initial stage and without any evidence concluded the fuel was the issue yet on the second occasion where he filled the unit with his own fuel the same problem existed. BUYERS BEWARE !! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER BETTER SPEND MONEY AT BUNNINGS WHO HAS BETTER EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY.
