Absolutely beautiful switched on nurse by the name of Ally (Allison)! And the Dr whos name I cannot recall were the first people I encountered in ED after Ally was attending to another patient then went off shift my nightmare began . Previously young nurse passed by with sandwiches etc just passed me by so no lunch for me.! Then she and another young nurse came to do my obs calling me Lisa wrong ! When I told her my name she took forever to find me on the computer . I attended ED with a very detailed letter from my GP the two paramedics who took me to hospital commented on the quality of the referral . I had told my story and given the Dr a copy of my referral then when the trainee cardiologist came to see me asked me why I had come to the hospital today . Requested a list of my medications and the dosage which I had already provide twice. She was absolutely hopeless went away to consult with the consultant who by the way doesnt consult unless the trainee deems it necessary. Then was told to go home and follow up with my cardiologist before the consult had even ended two nurses came in and asked my daughter if she was taking me home . Then told me to get out of the bed and get dressed and go to the waiting room while my discharge summary was prepared. She then stood and watched while I got dressed and s I disconnected all the telemetry for monitoring my heart . Then she said dont wait go home we will send your discharge summarys. I forgot to ask for Drs cert called back was told they had no record of me being there . Finally got that sorted and they wonder why people die at home because they dont want to come to Campbelltown ED its the pits .?

I presented to Campbelltown hospital tonight with a severe bacterial rash and swelling to my legs we where surprised as the hospital has been recently upgraded and yet the waiting room was half the size of the old one we waited approximately 3 hours and I got to talking to a mother we an obviously sick baby she had been waiting 5 hours I then went to the reception and told them I couldn't wait any longer and I would go to my GP in the morning I thought with the recent upgrades they were meant to employ more nurses and doctors and have better facilities

Misdiagnosed and sent home with medication to treat something I didn't have, I was also forgotten about for 8 hours at Campbelltown hospital with no pain relief and staff ignoring me. Very incompetent.

For incompetence, visit this hospital, they might even lose your dad like they did mine.

Great experience in maternity ward at Campbelltown Hospital with my first child from the midwifes to the staff in theatre for my C section. I especially wanted to thank the most amazing ladies in this maternity ward - Susanne Kayla Comfort and Margret. These ladies went above and beyond to help me with my needs, I even received some comforting hugs, they were so lovely about absolutely everything, they truly don't get enough credit for what they actually do for that hospital and their patients, I felt safe that whole time when they were around because as you can imagine being a first time mum is scary but these ladies have made the process so much easier to cope with and showed it in such a caring and compassionate way , so thank you so much from my husband and also from little Joseph. God bless you all, we truly wish you all health and happiness.
