St Thomas More Catholic Parish Primary School, Ruse

Our daughter attends St Thomas More and we are looking to send our second there. Lovely principal and teacher, very green school with a good environment.

Former student of this school, gotta say, wouldve rather been sent to a correctional facility. To start, a lot of the teachers who may or may not still work here were rude, cruel, and downright just mean. I remember one specific instance, it was a heatwave back in 2016 and I was in Year 4. We were out doing PE and running laps around the school to prepare for a cross country in nearly 45 degree weather, and understandably, me and a lot of my class-mates were really tired and annoyed, and I even had to stop to take a drink of water (crazy, I know.) when our teacher walked up to me and said; stop wasting time, or else youll stay fat! Or, at least something along those lines. The schools oval is quite unsafe for young children, as the shelters are in such a state of disrepair that it would most definitely give a child tetanus if they place their hand on the wrong spot. This sounds not too bad, and for all I know, it could very well have been something that only I really cared about, but a lot of the teachers who are, or were there were extremely incompetent. I would not recommend sending a child here.

The best choice I ever made was to move my kids from St. John's Evangelist Campbelltown to this great school that is well organised and I love the teachers. Highly recommend this school.
