I was a client of the Bay early 2023 to help me deal with increasingly frequent alcohol binges post a head injury and a long bout of Covid. The care I received at the Bay was beyond outstanding and truly customised to my needs and situation. I thrived in an environment where I was the only client onsite and benefited greatly from the extensive team of medical professionals whose focus was purely on me. The work was not easy but definitely helped me understand my situation. I was never a supporter of talk based rehabilitation prior to the Bay but now firmly see the benefits and firmly believe that the holistic focused help, support and education I received will be a turning point in my life over and above substance abuse issues. If you are considering the Bay for yourself or I loved one I could not recommend them more. My son has endured a difficult 42 years on this earth. A serious and exceedingly debilitating physical condition led him to a life of drug and alcohol dependency. One which unfortunately has until now, enjoyed no respite from countless interactions with well meaning doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists. Put simply, a decision to engage The Bay has yielded truly amazing results. From the Director down, the standard of support and commitment has been, in my experience, truly unique. My son now views his life through a totally different lens. One that is focussed on a future free of drugs and alcohol. The Bay has been nothing less than a life saving experience, not only for my son, but also for my family who have joined his battle for so many years. The Bay support continues with regular communication, advice and information, and whilst "cured" is not a word that is promoted we have all been gifted a genuine understanding and provided with the tools to ensure a rewarding future.... for all.
