Lets Go Surfing Byron Bay

I had 3 beginner lessons across 5 days with Sam (once), Dan (twice) & John (once). Sam & Dan were really helpful & encouraging & really got me progressing my pop-ups quickly in the first 2 lessons. They really helped me understand how to pick waves & placement which is what I was hoping for. I was riding more waves & for longer than ever before! I had my 3rd lesson with John who really made me focus on my shoulder direction & feet placement so again I was riding waves for even longer than before & begun to be able to speed up when I was standing which I hadnt achieved before. Unfortunately, I fell off my board & badly bruised my foot so couldnt continue the last half of the lesson. John provided first aid on the beach, and arranged for me to be driven back to the shop instead of walking. Back at the shop I was offered a ride to hospital and/or any first aid I could ask for. John even drove me back to my hostel with the icepack I accepted for my foot. 10/10 they went above and beyond & Im gutted I couldnt finish the last half of the lesson. Even though its taken 5 days for me to stop limping it was overall a great experience & I cant wait to surf again & put it all into practice. I recommended LGS to others at my hostel & would recommend them to anyone reading this too Thanks, guys

Me and my husband did a beginners surf course at Byron Bay with Dan and it was brilliant. Dan was very patient and we stood up which is what we wanted to achieve! Definitely makes us want to surf more :)

Had an amazing last minute lesson with Ava and Johnny. They were helpful, encouraging and full of knowledge which resulted in us both reaching our goals & standing up/riding a little wave

I booked a single surf lesson and I was the only one booked, so it was essentially a 1 on 1 lesson which was great. The team are friendly, knowledgeable and I had fun.
