        Im from Sydney and I was visiting Byron bay for the weekend. I had made my booking through booking.com and the request was accepted. When I showed up they wouldnt allow me to stay as I was from Sydney had we have recently had a few cases of covid. I completely understand the situation and that the owner that the ability to make the decision to turn me away. Yet she not only demanded me to leave but yelled at her staff to escort me off the premises. The manager even went as far was swearing and insulting me for being there in the first place. Her behaviour from a professional perspective was horrible. I wouldnt recommend staying at all. The gentleman behind the desk did there best to be kind to me and allowed me to wait until I found another place to stay. Unfortunately she threatened to call the police if I didnt leave immediately.
