Great relaxing location. Lovely rooms, friendly family and friendly dog... I have to admit I didn't have a go at the circus skills!

Alex and Moira are amazing and beautiful people and so is their retreat!!! I love their professional, highly skilled and joyful way of teaching. Teaching really good foundations!! I also have had a few private lessons with Moira beforehand and am new to the circus and aerial training. I am impressed by their expertise, background and feel I found the right teachers for myself. It has been so much fun doing the 7 day intensive with them! I learned so much, gained confidence and strength and made some beautiful new friends. I really liked the group dynamic (the people!!!), the exercises and the variety of skills being trained. The trapeze, hoop, silks, handstands, acroyoga and acrobatic training was supported by an amazing variety of stretching exercises and yoga. They had organized a very excellent vegan chef, who was cooking incredible food for us during the whole retreat. The accommodation and location near the beach and Byron Center is awesome, beautiful, calm and clean. I recommend them highly and am grateful for being able to work with them. There was nothing I did not like. I felt very safe and supported throughout the whole time. And loved our many laughs and the nature adventures we went on as well. Thank you so much! I definitely want to do it again!!!

The Ascension Aerial Retreat has been one of the most incredible and rewarding experiences of my life! Alex and Moira are amazingly talented circus instructors, super welcoming hosts and genuinely wonderful people. Over this last week of silks, hoop, trapeze, yoga and handstands Ive met a group of amazing new friends, learnt and improved on a whole host of aerial and ground based skills and eaten the best vegan food Ive ever had (thanks Cami!). The accommodation is lovely, near the heart of Byron Bay and the small size of the retreat means Moira and Alex are able to tailor their classes to suit a range of skill levels, from beginner to advanced. In all honesty I would highly recommend Acension Byron Bay and look forward to coming back sometime in the near future. From the bottom of my heart - thank you Moira and Alex
