Commonwealth Bank Byron Bay Branch

The worst Branch, Rudest people, more important to take a lunch break and literally get up out of the chair while sitting with us. I had been to the Ballina branch multiple times and they are just as hopeless so drove to Byron and made the appointment and after 1 hour still bearly got a resolution after speaking with a total of 3 different people.

So rude and painful to deal with, I have never had this issue with CBA before. After waiting 20 minutes in line to be served the staff member acknowledged I was next in line but then opted to start assisting other customers before me, he seemed amazed and belligerent that this made me irate and I asked that I be served first as I was the next in line. The people behind me were equally confused by this and advised they were happy to wait as I was first in line. I told Benjamin what I wanted and he just stared at me blankly and said 'I don't know what that product is' whilst offering a sarcastic smile. After some fluffing around the manager came out and said that they don't have a lending specialist and couldn't help me. She seemed more interested in arguing her point than making an effort to help me. Such a poor experience for a customer who has banked here his entire life & has the full suite of CBA products.

Appalling service with appalling training. Listed phone number for the branch diverts to an answer Machine where a curt message asks for your contact details with a promise to call you by close of business. I have made several phone calls and nobody returns the promised call.
